Be sure to check back here as I continue my journey in DCI! I was all gung-ho about auditioning for the Mandarins until they decided to take a hiatus in 2026. Do I stay with the Colts? Do I venture out to the East Coast (looking at you Crown) or try to get in with The Troopers? There's always Spirit to the South and MCDC right here in Nashville. So many choices!
2025
I was honored to be given the opportunity to spin with Colts Drum & Bugle Corps in 2025 as part Drum Corps International (DCI). Spinning with a corps in DCI has been a dream of mine that finally came true!
My start in DCI unfortunately was sidelined due to a leg injury. I want to thank the Colts staff for all their help, especially Guard Caption Head Fernando Rodriguez! He and his staff are wonderful and I learned so much from them!
I would also like to thank Corps Director Vicki MacFarlane and Asst. Corps Director Kathleen Ballard for their tremendous help. They treated me like family when I was away from mine.
I also want to thank all of those who helped me along this journey. To all of my family and friends...your love and support means a lot to me and my time in DCI is not over, just paused.
